Creator Hoyoung Cho’s work involves making familiar beings around us unfamiliar. He focuses on the moment when the energy changes when familiar beings become unfamiliar. Energy change does not only mean change in physical energy but it encompasses the changes in perceptions, interactions and relations of those who experience this unfamiliarity. Cho wants to create an intricate system that could enable the audience to see things around them from different angles, questions them and interact with them.
