Creator Sung-hwan Ahn seeks to represent a new definition of self by obsessively repeating self-consciousness that can be performed in this era through various mediums.

Creator Sung-hwan Ahn is an installation artist.

His work starts from the most primitive question that transcends time and human existence, “Who Am I?” Ahn who believes that it’s artists’ mission to suggest a new definition of ‘self’, has been experimenting with ego, self and identity through various media including performances, installation works, objects and videos. Ahn is interested in phenomena that may occur because of the reappearance of the self and he his currently running his ‘Studio Ahn Sung Hwan’ while living in Seoul, South Korea.
Ahn has participated in the <2019 Dutch Design Week>(Eindhoven, Netherlands, 2019) and group exhibitions such as 《Obsession; Reality Tunnel》(Hockney Gallery, London, United Kingdom, 2019) and 《Overturning Othering》(De Elektriciteitsfabriek, The Hague, Netherlands, 2018).
