Installation artist Moonjung Hwang, whose long interest had been capturing the relationship formed by the nature and city, designs a game called A City of No-Humans, in which non-humans occupy the cities.
A machine, which automatically shuffles the cards of bugs, plants, animals, garbage and other non-human elements of a city, represents a point of a city untouched by humans. Each player can create their own world using the cards in this “city building competition” with characters that had previously been sidelined emerging to the surface. Hwang points out that human-players are those ultimately running the world-building game.
