Media and installation artist Kwanwoo Park has been demonstrating his philosophical research on human self-consciousness using a variety of media, including sculpture, photography, video, interactive installation, and AI chatbot. Recently, Park has been interested in the point where physical boundary between human and non-human will collapse and human character in the future post human era.
Tell me that I’m here 2 brings light to the artist’s thoughts on the boundary and conditions of being human and ‘the boundary between me and others.’ Two performers confront themselves through the VR cameras installed back-to-back in front of them. When they finally meet after walking towards each other, they run into the illusion that they are confronting their own selves.
