Electronic music artist Park Sungmin and media music artist Park Seungsoon share their vision and interest in music with the audience by presenting a mobility-themed project with individually and collectively created music.
Music for Vehicles explores new possibilities of musical expression using the transport motif by acoustically recreating the feeling of being in one, such as a motorcycle, car or plane. Inspired by Brian Eno’s 1978 album “Music for Airports”, the two artists worked on 4 songs each—to a total of eight—to share their experimental music with the public in a familiar setting. The album is released ahead of ZER01NE DAY 2019 and the songs are performed on site during the three days of the exhibition.
