ZER01NE Lab’s Yangachi named mobility, artificial intelligence, and smart city as key technologies of the future. Using the Hyundai Motor Company advertisement as his motif, Yangachi created a video that sketches the future from the perspective of these three technologies. Sally, who appears to be living the ideal future life in the ad, becomes the “working” AI in Yangachi’s video. Using Sally’s transformed life as the lens into the future, Yangachi discusses labor, class, and social issues emerging in the smart city of 2050.
