Creator Jaeho Chang develops algorithms based on computer programming and creating audiovisual works with them.

Creator Jaeho Chang is a composer and a media artist.

He usually develops algorithms through computer programming and creates audio-visual works using those algorithms.
Chang has cofounded an audio-visual performance group called Tacit Group and a collaborative community for sound artists called WeSA with his fellow artist, Jinwon Lee.
Tacit Group was founded in 2008 and its works have been exhibited at an invitational exhibition held at Nam June Paik Art Center, a show commemorating the 500th issue of the architecture magazine ‘Space’ and a show celebrating the opening of the Seoul Hall at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea. In 2011, Tacit Group was invited to perform in the opening ceremony of the prestigious, 45-year-old, Aarhus Festival in Denmark. Then it went on an American tour to perform at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago (MCA) and Lincoln Center, New York and a European tour to perform in France and Belgium. It also performed at New York University Abu Dhabi, gave opening performance for the Plums Festival in Russia and was invited to perform at the 2019 International Symposium on Electronic Art held in South Korea. Tacit Group is currently focused on installations works that use lighting and sound systems at cultural spaces like Cosmo 50 and Piknic. Jaeho Chang studied composition at Seoul National University, electronic music at the Royal Conservatoire in the Hague in the Netherlands, worked as a professor of the department of musical technology at the Korean National University of Arts and worked as a director of Art Collider in the same university.
