Yejin, Kim

Creator Yejin Kim analyzes the changes technological advances could bring and the fundamental cause of dangers of those changes. She is also trying to find solutions for those dangers and visualize them using various media.

Kim has worked on HW, mechatronics, embedded devices, computer vision and AI development in numerous wearable, mobile and manipulator robotics projects. Kim is currently working as vision researcher at a robotics research institute and trying to create smooth robotic movements, focusing on developing intelligent robots. Kim also paints her everyday life and the feeling of happiness she experiences in nature. She has been mostly using oil and acrylic paints but she has recently started applying her AI and robotics knowledge and experiences into her visual art work.
